Guarded Key

Imagine having a lot of online accounts, like one for your email address, one for Facebook, Yahoo Messenger, FTP, Twitter and so on. All these accounts require entering a username and a password for logging into that specific websites. The problem is that it's really difficult to remember so many passwords. Using the same password for every account is not a good idea because in case a hacker takes over an account, he will have access to all of them, putting all your personal information in danger. A much better idea would be to use a specialized software for storing all your login data.

Guarded Key is such a software. It's basically a simple Windows application for storing any type of online account, but also credit card information, contacts and product information. All this information will be safely stored inside the program's database, being protected with a password. The user is asked to enter a password for the database when running the application for the first time. After doing this, he can start adding information into the database.

Because it doesn't require to be installed, Guarded Key can be copied on every USB memory stick and run directly from it. After the data for an online account has been added to the program, the website that requires entering the username and password can be automatically launched, allowing the user to automatically authenticate to that website without having to enter that information.

Virtually any type of online account is supported by the application. Besides adding online account information, the program also allows entering credit card and bank account details. Contacts can also be added to the program's database, together with complete information, such as the address, phone number and so on.
